About
The challenge
Solano is a self-initiated concept project, a fictional olive oil producer from Puglia, Italy, three generations deep, making under 1000 bottles a year. The brief I set myself was simple but difficult: design a website for a brand that has nothing to prove and doesn't need to shout about it. No e-commerce, no aggressive CTAs, no lifestyle photography. Just a brand that lets its product and its story do the work.
The Solution
A five-page editorial website built in Framer, designed around restraint. Clean typography, a lot of white space, and interactions that feel considered rather than flashy — a scroll-driven production process section, a stockist page where hovering each restaurant name swaps the image, and a contact form that asks the right questions before you even get to the email field. The goal was a site that feels like the brand: quiet, confident, and worth your time.
